Pregnancy Reveal Announcement

At the beginning of September, I had a message from a previous client – they were expecting another baby and wanted to surprise their older children with a pregnancy reveal announcement at an Xmas Mini Session! I’ve photographed Leo, Winnie, and Ottie for a few years at Christmas Mini Sessions. Plus I’ve also photographed gorgeous Ottie at just a few days old at her newborn photography session. As a photographer, I’m in a privileged position of watching children grow up and new additions added to the family. But to capture a pregnancy reveal announcement? This was a first for me – and I was excited to see the kid’s reactions!

Mum, Natalie, had bought the children matching pyjamas for this year’s Christmas bed scene so we started with just a few simple portraits of them before the reveal…..

Then we got them sat on the bed, ready for “a little gift”! Mum placed a gift box with a bow in front of them whilst I sat poised, ready for the children’s reactions! And here’s what I captured…..

And once the commotion and giggles had died down, there’s was just a few minutes to give them another gift…..fabulously designed t-shirts for a pregnancy reveal announcement!
