Social Distance Castings

I’m now offering mobile distance castings at either my home studio or if you are anxious about travelling with your newborn then I can come to your home. I can help you with positioning and the best technique to take the moulds. When you are ready I mix the casting gel for you and then stand 2m away and coach you while you take the moulds. If you don’t get it right the first time I bring enough material to allow 2 attempts per cast. Most results have been fantastic on the first attempt and parents have really enjoyed being part of the process. I’ve found that babies often feel more relaxed having both parents involved in their own home environment.

All my equipment is sterilised between appointments. Plus I wear appropriate PPE, observe social distancing and ensure health and safety advice is followed. After the casting I will send you the options for your cast colour, framing and mount choices. I’ll send a proof of your selections before placing your order.
