Kent Family Photographer

There’s whispers right now, in the midst of of our COVID-19 lockdown, that businesses may be able to get back to work again shortly. However, we’ve been warned that “normal” won’t return for many, many months. So I’m now starting to think about what I can offer when lockdown is lifted.

My newborn photography will to have to change the most. Purely as I have such close contact with newborns. But I’m a family photographer too, and this is going to be a much easier aspect of my work that I can return to, all be it with some restrictions still in place. At this point we have no knowledge of what these will be, but my guess is that it will involve still being able keep a 2 metre distance from each other (you can see why my newborn photography may be tricky!!). So a family photoshoot out on location whilst maintaining distance, will be possible. And this Kent family photographer is itching to get back to doing what I love!

Thought I’d share a gorgeous family photo shoot taken out at Knole Park last summer. We caught the evening sun! This is my favourite time to photograph as the light is so much softer and more flattering. I’ve photographed the Richards sisters a few times but Dad was often busy working (he’s the wonderful The Boiler Man!). However, this time, the whole family were there for the shoot. The shoot was important as eldest daughter, Aaliyah was setting off to start at boarding school just a few days after the session. These images marked a special time in their lives of them all being together for the last time before Aaliyah set off on her new adventure, chasing her swimming dreams.
