Competition winner of a ballet photoshoot

Back in February, I opened up a competition to win a ballet photo session: I’d wanted to pay forward the kindness of Jane from Alphabetty Classical Tutus who made her 100th tutu of 2017 for my daughter (you can see the beautiful tutu she made here).

Nine year old Maddie was my lucky winner of a ballet photoshoot. She visited my Kent photography studio a few weeks ago to have her photographs taken. She arrived in her gorgeous dance wear that she wears for class but I suspected she may fit in to my daughter’s old tutu, and she did! So with a quick change, she had some shots taken in the tutu too! Here’s some of the images we took – I hope she has them printed out for her bedroom walls 🙂

 

 

If any of you don’t already know, I’m mad about ballet! My Tonbridge photography studio is the perfect size for budding young dancers of primary school age.  After that age, we can look to shoot some dance portraits in an outdoor location of your choice.
