A 1st Birthday Cake Smash

Meet Jazz Hands Teddy

Teddy’s 1st birthday cake smash was a delight from beginning to end, not least because this little chap had bags of character and lots of smiles. We started with some simple portrait images which he smiled and sat beautifully for. For these types of shots at the beginning of a cake smash, I recommend bringing along a smart little birthday outfit.  Teddy looked great in a pale blue stripped jumper. His mum and I had already discussed the colour scheme she wanted so the colours worked perfectly with the backdrop.

 

 

Then we brought out the cake (a very yummy giant cupcake by lovely local business Cakes Unlimited Uk). Let’s face it, the cake is probably the most important part of a 1st birthday cake smash! Teddy wasted no time in getting stuck in!

 

There were lots of cute facial expressions as he concentrated on bashing, squelching and munching the cake!
