Urban Dance Photoshoot in Crowborough

Dance Photoshoot on location

I teamed up with a few dance teacher friends to take our dancing children out for a little urban dance photoshoot this summer holidays. Molly, Isabella, Belle & Cohen all dance at Associates – a wonderful dance school based in Tonbridge (there will be a blog to follow with a some images of the wonderful dance show they produced this July!)

We had to find shade as we were photographing during the middle of the day which isn’t ideal (it’s the least flattering time to photograph as the sun creates harsh shadows on faces) – these were all shot in and around Crowborough leisure centre – thank you to Tina who had scouted out the location and suggested here – it was great to find some different backdrops to photograph the dancers against. Here’s a few of my favourites from the shoot:

Or, if you’d prefer a studio session, I have a small studio in Tonbridge, Kent.  We can incorporate regular class dance wear, or perhaps your children have costumes from dance shows/festivals that they can wear.
