Sevenoaks Newborn Photographer show casing: Baby Thomas

Thomas was the last newborn I photographed, before I closed my studio due to the COVID-19 crisis. I’m not going to lie: I’m missing photographing these tiny little beings so much! So, I thought I’ll get creating some cute gallery viewings for you all over the coming months.

If the newborn has got big brothers or sisters, I always suggest that we start the session with the family shots. Thomas was visiting with his big brother Finley, so I captured sibling and family shots at the start of the photo session before moving on to the posed newborn images.

We kept fairly neutral & soft colours for Thomas’s gallery. Here on a beige blanket backdrop, I usually get a handful of different poses, including the “tushie-up” pose.

Adding a splash of colour, these pastel colours work really well for a Spring baby. And Thomas’s mummy wanted to capture a bunny ears shot! The cute bunny ears are from FluffyTops Photography Props
