Mother’s Day Photoshoot 2021
Posted on 17 Feb, 2021 by Sarah Hart
Treat Mum this year – she’s never deserved it more!
Mother’s Day Photoshoot sessions will be going ahead this year… just a little belatedly! But than I guess we’re all used to have to have to rearrange things due to Covid! There’s no doubt about it, this year has been extraordinarily tough for everyone these past 12 months. And without doubt, mums have had to work in “survival mum” gear to navigate the pressures from the pandemic. Hence, it’s even more pressing this year that mums should be treated!
As I write this blog, the Sarah Hart Photography studio is still closed. But I’ll be re-opening my studio doors from 12th April and I can’t wait! As the vaccination programme is being rolled out and small shoots are budding in nature, there’s an ever growing sense of optimism that we may be able to cautiously emerge from our lockdown hibernation in the coming months. And I’d love for you to dress up, put a bit of make-up on and celebrate the bloody awful year you’ve survived with a photoshoot at my Tonbridge studio!
A few differences…
So, no, these Mother’s Day photoshoot sessions are not going to coincide with Mother’s day on the 14th March. So instead, I’ve opted for two April dates: Saturday 17th April and Sunday 18th April.
Another difference is that this year, Dads will be welcome to the shoot too! The focus will still be on getting images of mum with her children, but it’s been such a dreadful past year for parents the world over, that I’d be happy to include dads in a shot or two. You can then proudly display your family portrait in your home and each time you look at it, be reminded of the time we emerged from the longest of lockdowns!
In the past, these sessions have allowed generations of mums to participate – i.e. Grandmother, Daughter, Grandchildren. However, mixing of house-holds indoors will not be allowed in April. Hence, bookings taken for this year’s Mother’s day shoots will be for 1 household only.
To ensure your safety, the mini sessions will not run back to back as they have done in the past. Instead, there will be a gap of 20 minutes between each session to allow for cleaning of surfaces and to ensure clients do not meet on exit/entry.
Cost of Session
The session fee costs £30 and each session is 20 minutes long. The mini sessions are for a maximum of 4 children and two parents. Babies of any age are welcome because mum can hold them. These Portrait With Mum sessions are focussed on achieving images of mums with their children – dads are welcome to join for a few family portraits. A week after your session, you’ll receive a gallery of approximately 10 images to choose from. Digital images and prints can be purchased from the following price list:
Package 1 – £150
All digital images from your gallery as high resolution jpegs
Package 2 – £70
Three digital images as high resolution jpegs
Package 3 – £50
Two digital images as high resolution jpegs
Prints can also be purchased on request.
