Relaxed Outdoor Family Photos

If you’re looking for a family photographer in Kent, Sarah Hart Photography offers limited evening and weekend sessions outside of the studio. A few years ago I took my children out to Shipbourne Common to photograph them as during May and June, the grass is kept long and meadow flowers bloom. It’s so pretty and whilst small in area, it makes for a great little spot when you have little ones who can’t walk so far.

We took my niece, Daisy, down to Shipbourne Common when she was just a few years old and she loved picking the dandelions and buttercups. My job as a family photographer, is to capture all the moments of the outing and tell a story. Yes, sometimes that will mean when your child has got a grump on. But I’ll also capture moments of laughter and playing around. With younger children, this is fairly easy as most children are keen to join in a few games. They’re happy to run in the grass, try to find fairies in the trees, blow dandelions etc. And these make for beautiful, relaxed portraits with plenty of natural smiles.
