Christmas Sessions 2020

Christmas Sessions are back! Ermmmm, what a year it’s been?!! I think back to this time last year and can’t quite believe how we’ve ended up here in 2020 with out kids having missed a third of their schooling this year, ever-changing rules about how many groups of friends we can/can’t meet up with and I’m conducting newborn sessions wearing face masks! But there you are! 2020: you have brought a lot of highs and lows!!

COVID-19 may have ruined lots of plans this year BUT I’m hoping we can get through the next few months with a little more joy. So, the Xmas Mini Sessions are now up and ready for you to book.

The Christmas Set

So as discussed with some of my clients last year, I really wanted to do a Christmas bed scene! So, I purchased this gorgeous backdrop from BabyPropShop way back before I’d even heard the word Coronavirus….

Each session will have white bedding and a couple of velvet green cushions to add to the festive scene. All that’s need, are a few perfectly groomed children ready for bed! Christmas pyjamas will look awesome on this set up. Though smart outfits/party dresses will look equally as lovely. The choice is yours!

Your safety

For obvious reasons, this year’s Christmas sessions will be conducted slightly differently. I won’t be able to offer these sessions back to back as I usually do. Instead each session will be held on the hour with a 40 minutes gap to allow me to clean between sessions and will be run over several weekend dates. I’ve also thought long and hard about how to keep the set as clean as possible. Therefore, each and every session will have a freshly laundered duvet cover. I’ll also be using a sanitiser spray on all cushions/pillows which kills bacteria and viruses and is touch dry again within minutes. And, as for all sessions, there will be hand sanitiser for every client to use upon entry to the studio.

Unlike previous years I won’t be able to provide additional props to include in the session. Instead this year I’m asking you to bring your own items. Here are some suggestions but you can bring along whatever you want:

• a favourite book
• a traditional teddy or favourite soft toy
• a beautiful bauble or Christmas decoration
• a stocking
• a beautifully wrapped Christmas gift with a bow
• Santa hat or bobble hats
• Mistletoe

Session Fee – £30

The session fee is required in order to secure a booking and then there are 3 digital image packages to choose from (please note, all digital images are sent via email for you to download as high resolution jpeg images) meaning you have the freedom to print your images to make photo Christmas gifts or prints as many times as you wish:

Snowflake – £50

Two high resolution digital images sent via email to download

Snowball- £70

Three high resolution digital images sent via email to download

Snowman – £150

All of the images in your gallery (minimum of 10)  high resolution digital images sent via email to download

A digital Christmas card design sent via email

How to Book

The Mini sessions are taking place on the following dates:  (Updated as often as I can, to try and show a better representation of which slots are still available)

• Sunday 20th September (SOLD OUT)
• Saturday 26th September ( SOLD OUT)
• Sunday 27th September – SOLD OUT
• Sunday 11th October – SOLD OUT
• Wednesday 21st Oct – 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm
• Sunday 1st Nov – 1pm, 3pm,

To book a session please email me at  sarah@sarahhartphotography.com and state which date you would like and a preference for a time and I will reply back with a suitable session time on your chosen date.

The Christmas mini sessions are for a maximum of 4 children (my backdrop size limits me to this number per shoot). Babies are welcome but must be able to sit unaided (approximately 6 months+) or sit with a sibling’s support as the set is not suitable for younger babies.
