Beautiful Xmas Mini Photoshoots 2021

I’m excited to be bringing back my Xmas mini photoshoots again this year! And I know from some of my clients that you’re keen to book these in to your diaries too! This year, you’ve got a choice to make as there are two different sets to choose from. Please read carefully to see which backdrops will be being used on which dates!

Option 1: The Red Christmas Stars Backdrop – perfect for older children and families

Presenting you with The Red Christmas Stars backdrop – a new backdrop for 2021 with a fabulous Xmas tree in reds and golds. At 6ft high, this is actually a taller backdrop than all my other backdrops so it suits older children and for the first time ever, I will be allowing 1 or 2 portraits of the whole family (including mum and/or dad) if you would like. As the objects in the backdrop are printed higher up the backdrop, this is much more suited to older children (2 years plus).

*PLEASE NOTE it is possible to book this backdrop for toddlers and babies who are sitting but please be aware you will not see all of the backdrop and mainly see white behind them in some of the images! I do have little chairs and stools which can be used in some of the images to raise smaller children up in a few shots. Plus parents can also hold babies in their arms to get some of the colourful backdrop in the image.

This backdrop will be used on Saturday 25th September and Sunday 26th September (scroll down to see available times).

Option 2: The Lovebirds Backdrop – suitable for babies and children

This is an old favourite last photographed at my 2018 Xmas Mini Photoshoots! The Lovebirds backdrop features beautiful white and bronze Xmas trees with a few little white Doves. It’s quite simply stunning! It’s a backdrop that has height of 5ft so is only suitable for babies capable of sitting up to children under 10. Parents will NOT be photographed on this backdrop as this is a shorter backdrop.

This backdrop will be used on Saturday 6th November and Sunday 7th November (scroll down to see times available)

Your safety

With Covid very much present in our lives now, this year’s Christmas sessions will be conducted with safety measures in place. The sessions will run with 10 minutes gaps, allowing me time to wipe down surfaces, door handles etc, in between sessions. I will be using antibacterial/anti-virus spray on the snow backdrop. It goes without saying that I must ask all clients to ensure they only attend the studio should they be clear of Covid symptoms.* And, as for all my sessions, there will be hand sanitiser for every client to use upon entry to the studio. I will continue to wear a mask at these sessions. I would ask that parents may also consider wearing a mask.

Unlike previous years I won’t be able to provide additional props to include in the session. Instead this year I’m asking you to bring your own items. Here are some suggestions but you can bring along whatever you want:

• a favourite book
• a traditional teddy or favourite soft toy
• a beautiful bauble or Christmas decoration
• a stocking
• a beautifully wrapped Christmas gift with a bow
• Santa hat or bobble hats
• Mistletoe

*In the event that you or a member of your household are presenting with Covid symptoms, please let me know a soon as possible before the session. I may be able to offer you an alternative date for an Xmas mini photoshoot, or will otherwise refund the session fee payment.

The Cost

Session Fee – £30

The session fee is required in order to secure a booking and then there are 3 digital image packages to choose from after you have viewed your gallery (please note, all digital images are sent via email for you to download as high resolution jpeg images) meaning you have the freedom to print your images to make photo Christmas gifts or prints as many times as you wish:

Snowflake – £50

Two high resolution digital images sent via email to download

Snowball- £70

Three high resolution digital images sent via email to download

Snowman – £150

All of the images in your gallery (minimum of 10)  high resolution digital images sent via email to download

A digital Christmas card design sent via email

How to Book

The Mini sessions are taking place on the following dates:  (Updated as often as I can, to try and show a better representation of which slots are still available)

Option 1: Red Christmas Stars Backdrop

• Saturday 25th September: SOLD OUT
• Sunday 26th September: SOLD OUT

Option 2: Bronze Lovebirds Backdrop

• Saturday 6th November: 9am, 9:30am, 10am, 10:30am, 11am, 11:30am, 12pm, 1:30pm, 2pm, 2:30pm, 3pm
• Sunday 7th November: 9am, 9:30am, 10am, 10:30am, 11am, 11:30am, 12pm, 1:30pm, 2pm, 2:30pm,

To book a session please email me at  sarah@sarahhartphotography.com and state which date you would like and a preference for a time and I will reply back with a suitable session time on your chosen date.

The Christmas mini sessions are for a maximum of 4 children (my backdrop size limits me to this number per shoot). Babies are welcome but must be able to sit unaided (approximately 6 months+) or sit with a sibling’s support as the set is not suitable for younger babies.
