Daniel’s First Birthday Cake Smash

Turning one is a BIG deal! And choosing to have your baby’s first birthday photographed with a cake smash is a lovely way to celebrate.
I first photographed Daniel as a 11 day old newborn baby last year. Last month I had the pleasure of photographing him in the studio for his first birthday cake smash session. I was especially excited to photograph this session as I had yet to photograph a little boy for a cake smash session (so far this year I’ve only had requests for little girl’s cake smashes) and I had ordered in a variety of outfits for his mummy to choose from. Daniel’s mummy chose a pale blue outfit with matching bow tie and hat. Though Daniel, himself, wasn’t too fussed on the hat 😉
